The set of skills that MBF students will acquire are the following:
- Integrate Business Functions for Financial Decisions
- Demonstrate an understanding of how to Integrate the different Business disciplines in assessing Financial challenges and opportunities considering the local and international constraints as well as the company’s mission, vision, and overall strategy.
- Demonstrate Strong Knowledge of Financial Theory
- Understand, compare and contrast the different Financial theories that influence Financial Decisions in valuation, dividends distribution, capital structure, mergers and acquisitions, credit rating, and other related areas.
- Evaluate Financial Performance
- Identify the firm’s strengths and develop the right mix of assets that are aligned with the overall strategy of the firm and Evaluate whether the objectives of the firm’s investment policy have been met.
- Analyze Financial Investments
- Evaluate the risk-return trade-off of different Financial Investments and design a portfolio of Investments that is optimum in terms of liquidity, duration, and other identified requirements and constraints.
- Demonstrate Expertise in Area of Specialization
- Provide professional advice on issues related to his/her Specialization including analyzing problems and developing alternatives for decision-making.
